Public Programming at the Allen Memorial Planetarium

Four times a year, prior to the change of seasons, the Planetarium opens for a Seasonal Star Program. This program is a 30 minute educational program presenting the constellations and other wonders of the sky for each season. There is no charge for this educational program.

Seasonal Star Program

The Planetarium opens at least three times a year with a laser light show for the public. The cost for the laser light show is $4.00 per person. The money from the laser shows helps offset the cost of running the Planetarium and allows the Planetarium to provide educational programs for schools and community groups on a donation basis only.
