Music DepartmentTerre Haute South Band Website Three choirs make up the choral department at Terre Haute South. Advance Singers are encouraged to audition for the top-performing group: Show Choir. This group travels widely throughout the community especially at Christmas time. Girls who are interested in exploring Advanced SSA repertoire are enrolled in our esteemed Treble Choir. This group has a history of outstanding ratings at ISSMA contests, Solo & Ensemble and has participated in the St. Marry of the Woods Choral festival. Beginning singers gain valuable training in our Mixed Choir and develop basic skills and discipline to promote into more advanced choirs. The choral department sponsors and produces major musical production each fall and also presents concerts throughout the rest of the school year. Choral students have the opportunity to showcase their individual talents in our annual spring production of "Sensations". Choral students can receive a school letter for participation in choir after 2 full years. Special awards are given at our spring concert for students who show outstanding performance in their respective Choral group. Kathy Anderson
