News:
Color Guard performs approximately 50 times each year at home football games, cross-country meets; numerous Veterans and Mermorial Day events; parades, schools, etc. In addition, in the spring, Special Teams (Color Guard and Drill Team) go to approximately 5 drill meets in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois to compete for trophies. Other activites include community service participation, a military ball in the spring, and an award ceremony/parade at the end of the school year. At least one annual field trip is taken, usually to a military or aviation-related facility. Cadets also have the option to attend, expenses paid, a Leadership School or Aviation Honors Camp in the summer. In the first 2 trimesters of 2006-07, cadets donated more than 1,000 hours toward improving their community by participation in numerous activities.
