Mission Statement: Achieving control over language is important in all areas and at all levels of human endeavor. It is basic to thinking and to learning. In order to address a diverse population at Terre Haute North Vigo High School, the student’s needs are met through various course levels. Classes are geared to be scholastically appropriate for each individual. The philosophy of the English Department is that students will be most successful in an environment that is tailored to their academic abilities.
