Please check out the following scholarship websites to see if you qualify. Each scholarship will list criteria and deadline date.

Purdue University’s School of Health Sciences announces its Freshman Scholars Program for students who have a combined SAT of 1250, an ACT of at least 28, or students who are the valedictorian or salutatorian. The application is available in the Scholarship Room if you meet any of these requirements.

The Keppra Family Epilepsy Scholarship program will award 30 one-time scholarships. Applicants must be epilepsy patients or family members/caregivers of an epilepsy patient. They must also demonstrate academic achievement, possess a strong record of participation in activities outside of school, and serve as strong role models. Pay for college with a Junior Achievement scholarship. Go to www.ja.org,

Indiana State University’s College of Business is offering the following scholarships:

  • O. Earl and Tina Elliott Scholarship
  • John and Jennie Figg Scholarship
  • Maurice and Marian Kessel Scholarship

To access the applications, please log on to http://webforms.indstate.edu/index.asp?sec=771&too=600&eve=29&fid=1017 Before pressing the submit button, print TWO copies of the application . Keep one for your records and mail one to the College of Business Dean's Office (800 Sycamore Street Rm 1109 Terre Haute, IN 47809) by January 31, 2006. When you submit, you will have a confirmation page to sign, date, and submit along with the copy of the application to the dean's office for scholarship consideration.

The Robert Gurman Memorial Scholarship is available for seniors who have a B average in high school, are of good character, and has participated in athletics and other extra-curricular activities. Applications are available in the Scholarship Room. Deadline is April 28

Scholarship information is available for seniors interested in U.S.Air Force ROTC. Go to www.afrotc.com for more information.

The John R. and Aline B. Emens Scholars program at Ball State University is a highly competitive program for student leaders. Students who wish to be nominated for this program should visit the web site at http://www.bsu.edu/finaid/.

U.S. Bank scholarships are selected through a random drawing process. Apply online atwww.usbank.com/studentbanking.

Miss Cheerleader of America scholarships are available. If you are interested, please pick up an application in the Scholarship Room.

If you are a 21 st Century Scholar with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and achieved at least a 1500 on the new SAT, you are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship at University of Evansville. Please see your counselor if you are interested.
