- The Professional Standards Board will not accept
personal checks. You must have a cashier's check
or money order made out to the State of Indiana to
renew your substitute teaching license.
Picture
ID badges are required for all Substitute Teachers. All
active Substitutes are asked to go to the General Services
Building at 3250 Maple Ave. between the hours of 8AM
and 11AM(Monday-Friday only, no holidays, no exceptions)
to get your picture taken for an ID badge. Please do
this
before
you start
to sub.
You

an appointment.
A
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RETIRED TEACHERS If
You are recently retired from active teaching in the
state of Indiana you can not substitute within 90 days
of your retirement date. If you do your benefits will
stop and you will have to reapply for retirement.
The
2005-2006 school year substitute update form and SubFinder
instruction cards are available for download (see the
links below).These are Microsoft Word documents. If you
don't have Microsoft Word you can find these same files
in Acrobat format below.
