Book/Movie/Music/Game Review Assignment

Why: …so you can learn to analyze forms of literature (including non-print literature).

Here’s the deal: pick one of the following:

--a book you haven't read before,

--a movie you haven't seen before,

--an album you haven't heard before,

--a game you haven't played before.

Your task: to analyze the work and write an essay over it. Note that an analysis is not a summary. Instead, you will be evaluating the work, describing

--its good points,

--its bad points,

--how it could be improved.

Your essay should be five well-developed paragraphs in length and should contain a clear thesis statement and organizational structure.

This review will be due the friday before Finals week.

Remember—I won’t necessarily be reminding you about this.
It’s your duty to keep up on this assignment and make sure to get it done.
