General employment policies related to the various categories of classified employees will be determined by the Board of School Trustees. These will not necessarily be identical for all categories of classified employees.
When any category of classified employees requests discussion with the Board regarding wages, hours, wage related fringe benefits, and other items of mutual concern, the Superintendent is authorized to organize necessary discussion committees to represent the Board of School Trustees and comply with the discussion request.
A final report of the result/s of any discussion held as a result of this policy from the designated committee/s shall be prepared and presented to the Board of School Trustees for adoption as policy. The Emergency Procedure of Policy BFC shall apply to the consideration of any report submitted by any discussion committee organized as a result of this policy.
The adopted committee report shall be placed
in the School Corporation Policy Manual.
