EXECUTIVE SESSIONS

The Board of School Trustees may meet in Executive Sessions which shall be closed to the public and press. Such sessions are called by the President or the Superintendent of Schools for consideration of those matters authorized by state law, including but not limited to, the following:

1. Strategy with respect to collective bargaining, the initiation of litigation, the implementation of security systems, and the purchase or lease of real property;

2. To receive information about and interview prospective employees;

3. To receive information concerning an employee's alleged misconduct;

4. To discuss a student's behavior and needs; and,

5. To discuss a job performance evaluation of individual employees.

No final action shall be taken at an Executive Session. No minutes are to be kept of the meeting; however, the Superintendent shall keep notes of items discussed.
