BOARD ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

The Board of School Trustees shall organize at a Regular or Special Meeting of the Board, which shall be held within the first fifteen days of January of each year.

The order of business will be for the Board to name a Temporary Chairman who will conduct the election of the President. When elected, the President will assume the Chair and proceed to conduct the balance of the Organizational Meeting. After the election of the Board Officers has been completed, the Board shall then designate the Treasurer of the School Corporation and fix the bond for that office and appoint a Legal Counsel.

When the Board has been organized, it shall proceed with such other business as is to come before the meeting, otherwise the meeting will be adjourned.
