I have taught kindergarten at Lost Creek and Sugar Grove here in Vigo County.

I love working with kindergarten-age children because it is exciting to get young students off to a great start. I strive to plan exciting lessons to motivate the children to learn. Each child in my classroom will have the opportunity to explore language, reading/writing, music movement, creative art, math, dramatic play, puzzles, social studies, manipulative materials, blocks, nature, science, and books.

I was raised in Terre Haute and attended several of the Vigo County Schools. I then went to college at Indiana State University and am currently working on my masters at Indiana State. In my free time I enjoy swimming, shopping, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling.

I am very excited about being a part of the Fuqua family.
