As an art teacher in the Vigo County School Corporation, I have taught at Pimento, Hoosier Prairie, Davis Park, (the old and the new), Franklin and Fuqua Elementary Schools.

I believe art is for everyone, either through appreciation or the production of it. I think everyone can enjoy the creative makeup of art and that it should be an expression of our inner self.

I am personally interested in weaving and spinning as art forms, as well as pioneer life in general. I belong to the Wabash Valley Weavers' Guild. I'm also interested in photography, and oil and watercolor paintings, plus the teaching of art to my many wonderful students.

I've taken up the fiddle in the recent past and like to occasionally incorporate music and art in the classroom. They blend well.

I'm married to Loren, a nurse, and have two great daughters, Lydia and Sarah.
