Math Incentive Program

In the spring, students can look forward to a math incentive program. Students earn "money" for correctly completing math problems each day. They keep track of their earnings in check books donated by Terre Haute First National Bank. They use this money to pay rent on their chairs. When they earn $250, they may buy their chairs and save to buy additional chairs to rent. At the end of the year the "money" is used to buy items at an auction. Mr. John Newman from Shadow's Auction Barn conducts the auction for the classes. The Vigo County Education Education Association sponsors a grant to help buy the items for the auction. Be sure to ask your child about how much money they have in their accounts this spring.
