Hello! My name is Laura Hughes. I graduated from St. Mary-of-the-Woods-College in 2000 and was blessed the same year with a teaching position for Vigo County School Corporation. During my first year of teaching, I taught morning kindergarten at Oubache Elementary and traveled to Fuqua Elementary to teach afternoon kindergarten. Since then, I have been teaching second grade.

I have been married to a wonderful man for eight years. In our spare time my husband and I like to spend time with our preschool son and travel with our family. Currently, I am close to completing my masters in education.
