Mrs. Fuhrer says: I think third grade is a
super year. I have been teaching for more than twenty-five years. I began
teaching in Vanderburgh County (Evansville) and taught for six years.
I took some time off to raise two children. We moved to Terre Haute
in 1976, I began substitute teaching, and have taught in Vigo County
for several years.
I am married and have two children. My husband is a registered nurse. My son is a dentist in Indianapolis, and my daughter is a Reading Recovery teacher. I have a grandson and a granddaughter; and, if you ask me, I'll show you their pictures!!!
I love teaching, especially at Fuqua School because of the truly caring staff. Everyone works together to make learning a successful experience for every child.
