WINTER EMERGENCIES - Thanks to everyone who completed blue weather emergency cards. This information will ensure that your child arrives at the correct location if school should be dismissed early. We ask you to listen to the local radio and/or television stations regarding weather emergencies.

Thursday, January 11 - Third, fourth and fifth grade classes will be traveling to the TERRE HAUTE BOWLING CENTER as a culminating activity to the unit on bowling.

Friday, January 12

- SCHOOL WILL BE DISMISSED AT NOON so teachers may attend an instructional in-service. There will be no afternoon preschool or afternoon kindergarten classes.

- First and second grade classes will be traveling to the TERRE HAUTE BOWLING CENTER as a culminating activity to the unit on bowling.

- First semester ends. REPORT CARDS will be sent home on Friday, January 19.

- SPIRIT DAY - Hippie Day!

Monday, January 15 - SCHOOL WILL NOT BE IN SESSION in observance of Martin Luther Kings, Jr.'s birthday.

Tuesday, January 16 - There will be a PTO MEETING at 6:30 p.m. in the media center. All are welcome!

SPIRIT DAY - Pin Day!

Friday, January 26 - There will be NO REGULAR PRESCHOOL CLASSES. PARENTS of preschool students are invited to participate in workshop opportunities provided by Covered Bridge Special Education District at Fuqua.

AS A REMINDER - If your child is ill, please call the school office (462-4304) by 9:00 a.m.

With the cold weather here, please make sure your children are properly dressed with warm coats, mittens, and hats when they leave home for their day at school.
