Dixie Bee Pledge

Today is a new day.  Yesterday is in the past.  Today I pledge to believe in myself, explore opportunities, experience excellence, and serve others. I am proud to be a bee!

Dixie Bee School Purpose Statement

Teachers, administrators, parents and the community of Dixie Bee School maintain high expectations for academic growth of all students. Students learn best when actively engaged in the learning process in a positive, safe, and secure school environment. 

CALENDAR OF EVENTS – Mark it down!!

September 7– No school in honor of Labor Day!

September 15/16- Midterm reports will go home with all students in the Tuesday folder.

September 11– Picture Day! Smile pretty!

September 22 – Autumn begins!


·         Principal Notes – This school year has gotten off to a fantastic start!  We are so fortunate to have such an outstanding group of teachers working with our super students.  We are excited about the 2020-21 school year!  Please, don’t hesitate to call the school if you have any questions or concerns. ·         Textbook Fees – Look for textbook rental invoices the end of September  The fee for kindergarten is $126.00 grade 1 - $140.00, grade 2 - $126.00, grade 3 - $131.00 grade 4 - $102.00 and gr. 5 - $120.00.  Thank you!

·         Free/Reduced Lunch Applications Applications for free and reduced meals are due by Friday, September 11th.  These forms are online! to apply. Only one application is needed per family with each child’s name listed on the application.  Even if you are not sure if you qualify for this service, please fill it out online or return to school. 

Parents will be responsible for textbook fees for each child who does not have an approved application filed

·         No Glass Containers! – If your child brings their lunch to school, please make sure all items are packed in unbreakable containers.  Thank you for your attention to this matter!

·         Drop Off – Just a reminder to those dropping off their children in the mornings.  Please, DO NOT pass other cars as the students are being dropped off.  This is a serious safety issue.  Thank you for your support in this matter.
