Congratulations Art Students!

Congratulations to the following art students!  Their artworks were selected for the 52nd Annual Swope Art Museum Student Art Exhibition!"   

 Emilli Brown's collage titled "Yellow Jacket," Kendra Deckard's photograph titled "No Strings Attached," Jenna Dinkel's colored pencil drawing titled "Fetch," Audrey Kirchner's photograph titled "Gone But Not Forgotten," and Kaitlyn Koenig's watercolor painting titled "Memories"  were on display at the Museum. Kaitlyn's painting received a Juror's Merit Award. These students were all extraordinary representatives for South!!!

State Superbowl Results

Congratulations to the science and math teams who finished second and fourth respectively at the Academic Superbowl state finals this Saturday in Lafayette. 

Competing for the science team was Joseph Dalloul, Ethan Kirsch, Priscilla Liu, and Angelina Dalloul. Coach: Adam Zwerner.

Please follow these guidelines:            
Students should not be given final exams before the scheduled time. Seniors are the only 
ones that take the 2nd and 5th hour final on an earlier date.      
Students should make arrangements with their teachers to make up final exams prior to May 
31st . If that could not be arranged, students should make them up in the main office the following
week. After June 5th, no finals will be given and grades become F's.     
Students should remain in the classroom during the testing periods.

Great Job Music Department

Congratulations to the Terre Haute South Bands!  Both the Symphonic Band and the Wind Ensemble earned Gold Ratings at ISSMA Contest and the Wind Ensemble earned a PERFECT score in Sight Reading! The South Band Program has now earned an ISSMA All Music Award for the 2018-2019 school year! Amazing job everyone!

Summer Performing Arts Workshop 2019

Summer Performing Arts Workshop 2019 Applications are now available.  Please see Michelle Tracy in Guidance for the application form.

Students will earn 1 fine arts credit for this workshop.

Physical Night

TH South physical night will be May 15th at 6PM.  Any VCSC student may attend. This physical will be good for the 2019-2020 school year.

Spell Bowl-Back to Back State Champs

Congratulations to the South Spell Bowl team for winning the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP for the second consecutive year. The team only missed three words in the entire competition, and eight spellers had perfect rounds.
