MINUTES

A Statutory Meeting regarding the 2005 Budget was held at the Vigo County School Corporation Administration Building, 696 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana, on September 13, 2004 at 7:00 P.M.

The following Board Members were present: Dr. Joseph Minnis, Mr. Kenneth Schuster, Mr. Michael Tom, Mr. Mel Burks, Mr. Gene Shike, Mr. Alferd Hamblen, and Mr. Guille Cox.

Mr. Burks led the Pledge of Allegiance

2005 Budget

Mr. Thornton presented the 2005 Budget as follows, and responded to questions from Board Members.

Appropriation Reduction Resolution – Bus Replacement Fund

Mr. Shike moved for approval. Dr. Minnis seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Resolution to Adopt a Transportation Bus Replacement Plan

Dr. Minnis moved for approval. Mr. Hamblen seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Resolution to Adopt a Capital Projects Fund Plan

Mr. Cox moved for approval. Mr. Burks seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Resolution of Appropriations – Budget Form No. 4

Mr. Burks moved for approval. Mr. Hamblen seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Resolution of Tax Rates – Budget Form No. 5

Mr. Schuster moved for approval. Mr. Cox seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
